Collection: Chris Alveshere

Chris views his work as an investigation of items he finds curious, sentimental or humorous. He creates with an intention toward whimsy, color and humor but also usefulness and convenience. Whatever the vessel, Chris aims for his work to not only be visually compelling but also serve a purpose. He currently teaches art education and ceramics at the University of Montana and is co-owner of Workroom Montana, a community arts studio in Missoula.
