Collection: Tara Locklear

Tara is inspired by materials in industrial and social culture. From sheet steel, cast cement to recycled skateboards, all of her material choices have inherent beauty and strength beyond their functioning identity. Tara's focus is to create finely crafted jewelry that empowers the wearer's individuality and bring a refreshing point of view to contemporary jewelry. Her work is shown in galleries, the Smithsonian and ACC Craft Shows, and in public collections, such as the Racine Art Museum. She has taught several workshops and given lectures nationwide, at such organizations as the Pratt Design School in NYC and at Contemporary Craft Pittsburgh, and is a 2014 LEAP finalist.
