Collection: Mac McCusker

Pittsburgh ceramic artist Mac McCusker’s work is hand sculpted, wheel thrown, and slab constructed from many different clay bodies including stoneware and raku. The content of their work regularly involves social commentary spotlighting the policing of gender, anti-discrimination laws, Bathroom Bills, and issues addressing the LBGTQ community. Through their sculpture and narrative vessels, Mac documents their own experiences and struggles with these issues.
